Main Responsibilities

  • Providing emotional support to individuals and their families
  • Providing enthusiastic and compassionate care, contributing to an individual's physical and emotional wellbeing
  • Being motivated and recognizing the importance of your role in supporting a client with complex care needs
  • Being willing and eager to complete additional training, upskill, coach and mentor yourself
  • Comfortably assisting clients with limited mobility
  • Providing practical support for individuals, such as helping with household tasks, personal care, and taking them to appointments
  • Supporting and monitoring their healthcare needs, including administering medication
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment for the individual
  • Safeguarding individuals and reporting any concerns
  • Able to work on a rolling rota basis and being part of a team of core carers/support workers around the individual, working collaboratively with the management team

Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK

  • A minimum of 3-6 months' experience of being a carer/support worker in any setting (nursing home, private own homes, supported living)
