Your Responsibilities

As a Learning Disability Specialist, you will work collaboratively with our Positive Behaviour Support Team to provide assessment, intervention, and training for individuals with complex behavioural and/or mental health needs. Your role will involve supporting senior nurses with monitoring of behavioural case loads, assessments, and interventions, as well as managing risk in the community.

About You

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about working in collaboration with service users, their family, carers, and professional colleagues to enhance health and wellbeing, and prevent or reduce behaviour that challenges. You will have an understanding of National and Local Policies relating to the management of working with people who present with behaviours that challenge, as well as experience of working within a PBS framework.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will benefit from a comprehensive benefits package, including opportunities for career development and professional growth.
