Job Description

Job Title: Programme Manager - IT

Job Summary:

Capita is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead the planning, structuring, and direction of a divisional programme of work. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and implementing interrelated projects from contract initiation to final operational stage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programme Planning: Develop and implement programme plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of business benefits.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of programme managers and project managers to achieve programme objectives.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate programme risks to ensure delivery of business benefits.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure programme alignment with business objectives.
  • Reporting and Governance: Provide regular programme reports to stakeholders and ensure compliance with governance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in programme management, with a strong track record of delivering business benefits.
  • Certifications: Prince 2 certified or equivalent.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and influence stakeholders.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of programme and project management methods, including MSP, PRINCE2, and Agile.
