Physiotherapist Role

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. This role will involve conducting thorough assessments of individuals' disabilities or health conditions, with the goal of providing accurate reports to help determine their eligibility for benefits.
The successful candidate will have excellent clinical knowledge and assessment skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. They will work in a fast-paced environment, using their expertise to provide high-quality assessments that meet the needs of our customers.
As a Physiotherapist at Maximus, you will have the opportunity to work on complex cases involving chronic pain disorders and neurological, physical, and mental health conditions. You will receive ongoing support and mentorship, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Conducting telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to understand how an individual's disability or health condition affects their daily life
- Producing Personal Independent Payment (PIP) reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions determine a person's eligibility for benefits
- Developing your clinical knowledge and assessment skills through regular feedback and supervision
