About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Peripatetic Manager to join our team at Sanctuary Group. As a Peripatetic Manager, you will be responsible for providing operational support to our care homes, ensuring that they comply with all relevant legislation and registration requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility for care homes that temporarily have no Manager as and when required
  • Provide operational support for senior management, including the Regional Director and Home Manager
  • Ensure that care homes comply with all relevant legislation and registration requirements
  • Establish, maintain and monitor procedures to ensure compliance
  • Monitor and maintain awareness of major developments and legislation within the sector
  • Run the home to meet business objectives, including control of budgets and economic viability
  • Embrace new business from enquiring residents and build relationships with the local community
  • Keep the home safe, full and fun
  • Manage recruitment, performance and development of quality staff to deliver the best care and life enrichment in the home

Requirements

  • Previous Management experience in a residential and/or nursing setting from a minimum of two different care homes
  • Strong operational management experience
  • Valid NMC PIN
  • Current driving licence and ability to travel extensively
