Rally Raid Engineer

M-Sport UK is seeking a highly skilled Rally Raid Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership to vehicle builds, leading car build specification and change control, and defining and delivering vehicle running procedures.
You will work closely with our team to extract maximum performance from our competition vehicles while ensuring efficient running. Your expertise will be essential in identifying and resolving technical issues, undertaking calculations and whole vehicle performance analysis, and preparing post-event reports and bulletins.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical expertise and leadership to vehicle builds prior to tests and events.
- Lead car build specification and change control.
- Define and deliver vehicle running procedures and ensure efficient running of event entry cars.
- Help drive an integrated and collaborative approach to improving performance aspects.
- Undertake calculations and whole vehicle performance analysis.
- Prepare post-event reports and bulletins.
- Ensure all event entry cars comply with FIA technical regulations.
- Prepare high-standard technical documentation and details of technical updates.
We are looking for a self-motivated team player with a positive and can-do attitude. You should be educated to either a MEng or BEng degree level in Motorsport/Automotive Engineering and have a thorough understanding of motor vehicles and their systems.
You should have experience and knowledge of data logging and analysis software, be well-organised and delivery-focused, and have strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential, as well as the ability to produce professional technical documents and reports.
A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar chassis/race engineering role in Motorsport is required.
