Role Overview
M-Sport UK seeks a skilled Rally Raid Engineer to provide technical support and leadership on both Rally Raid events and back at the factory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise to vehicle builds prior to tests and events.
- Lead car build specification and change control.
- Define and deliver vehicle running procedures and ensure the efficient running of event entry cars.
- Contribute to an integrated approach to improving performance aspects, identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Undertake calculations and whole vehicle performance analysis.
- Prepare post-event reports and bulletins including event and performance analysis of both the car and team.
- Ensure all event entry cars comply with FIA technical regulations.
- Prepare high-quality technical documentation and details of technical updates.
- Support the team in developing and improving internal systems for efficiency and quality.
About the Role
This role requires a self-motivated team player with a positive can-do attitude, educated to MEng or BEng degree level in Motorsport/Automotive Engineering, and experience in data logging and analysis software.
Key qualities include strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
