Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to fill the position of Unit Manager in our award-winning team. The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality care and a commitment to supporting the well-being of our residents.

About the Role:

The primary focus of this role will be to lead a team of nurses, senior carers, and carers in providing exceptional care and support to our residents. This includes enhancing and promoting their quality of life through effective care planning and management. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, as well as experience working within a care home environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of caregivers to provide staff support and ensure that senior care and support are always available.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to enhance the quality of life for residents.
  • Participate in the rota management to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times.

Requirements:

  • An active NMC PIN is essential for this role.
  • NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
  • At least two years' experience of working within a care home environment.
  • The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

We Offer:

A competitive salary range of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a DBS Disclosure check, which will be met by Avery Healthcare Group.
