Job Title: Child Welfare Manager

Progressive Care UK Limited is a well-established National provider of care, assessment and support packages for Children, Families and Young People. We are seeking an experienced Child Welfare Manager to oversee the management of social work services within our region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide management oversight of social work services to ensure timely, high-quality assessments and interventions that secure positive outcomes for children and families.
  • Safeguard children, young people, and vulnerable adults by adhering to policies and promptly addressing concerns.
  • Collaborate with partner agencies to address safety concerns effectively and triangulate information for informed decision-making.
  • Mentor and model good practice for social workers and social work students, providing guidance, supervision, and opportunities for reflective practice.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work and current registration with the relevant regulatory body.
  • Extensive experience in managing social work services, including supervision of staff and oversight of complex cases.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of legal, regulatory, and statutory frameworks in social work practice.
