Job Title: Financial Operations Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at Blue Arrow. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our sales ledger, preparing timely financial information, and implementing our credit control policy with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the sales ledger by allocating remittances, credit notes, and journals
  • Prepare timely financial information and aged debtor lists
  • Implement our credit control policy with customers
  • Advise and resolve account queries electronically
  • Create and issue invoices promptly
  • Manage cash sales, prepare statements, and prepare lodgements for banking
  • Perform additional accounting and administrative duties
  • Control petty cash and maintain adequate stationery supplies
  • Complete month-end closures in a timely manner
  • Administrate and set up new customer credit account applications
  • Management reporting

Requirements:

  • Maths, English, and ICT - GCSE Grade C or above
  • Minimum intermediate level MS Excel - export CSV and report formatting
  • Minimum 5 years' experience
  • Experience of working within a manufacturing environment (desirable)
  • Accounting technician qualification or part-qualified (desirable)
  • Experience using Intact system (desirable)

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.45pm, Friday 8am - 2pm. All shifts include a 15-minute paid tea break and 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
