Key Responsibilities

The Nuclear Submarine Programme Safety Manager will be responsible for managing the safety aspects of the programme, including the derivation and management of Product Safety requirements derived from Product Safety hazard and risk identification.

This position requires working in accordance with Project Safety Management Plans, influencing the development of a safe design, and completing peer reviews to demonstrate the adequacy and robustness of the Safety Case and supporting documentation.

The successful candidate will have a reasonable understanding of safety within systems engineering, including establishment of good engineering requirements and how they will be delivered through engineering processes.

This is a hybrid-working role with an estimated salary range of £50,000 to £65,000 per annum plus an excellent benefits package. SC Clearance is required for this position.
