Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join our team at The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust. As a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities
• Antenatal clinics and elective Caesarean sections
• Administrative duties, including office space and secretarial support
• Weekend on-call duties, shared with 16 colleagues on a 1:8 basis
• Hot week (alternate antenatal/labour ward) duties, 1 week in 8
• Weekday on-call duties, shared with 16 colleagues on a 1:16 basis
Person Specification
• Medical degree from a recognised medical school
• MRCOG or equivalent
• GMC registration with a full licence to practise
• Experience in obstetrics and gynaecology, including ATSM Advanced Labour Ward practice and ATSM Medical Education
• Ability to contribute to the development of the Trust and its services
