About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Obstetric Consultant to join our team at The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust. As a key member of our Maternity Services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Obstetric team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and service efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways and effective communication.
  • Participate in clinical governance and audit activities to maintain high clinical standards.
  • Contribute to the development of our maternity services, including the design and implementation of new initiatives and projects.
Requirements
  • Medical Degree from a recognized medical school.
  • MRCOG or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, with a strong track record of clinical excellence.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and patients.
