About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Obstetric Consultant to join our team at The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust. As a key member of our Maternity Services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing antenatal clinics and elective Caesarean lists
- Leading and managing a team of healthcare professionals
- Developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures
- Participating in audit and quality improvement initiatives
- Teaching and training junior staff and medical students
Requirements
- Medical degree from a recognised medical school
- MRCOG or equivalent
- Experience in obstetrics and gynaecology
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
