About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Obstetric Consultant to join our team at The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust. As a key member of our Maternity Services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing antenatal clinics and elective Caesarean lists
  • Managing administrative duties and ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Participating in on-call duties for Obstetrics, including weekend and weekday shifts
  • Contributing to the development of our services and participating in clinical governance and audit
  • Teaching and training junior staff, medical students, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • Medical Degree from a recognized medical school
  • MRCOG or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, including ATSM Advanced Labour Ward practice and ATSM High Risk Pregnancy
  • Ability to contribute to the development of our services and participate in clinical governance and audit
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
