Job Description


We are seeking an experienced Investment Analyst to join our team as a Strategic Investment Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying promising companies interested in investing in Japan and approaching them through various channels.


Key responsibilities include:



  • Listing potential investment opportunities in Japan
  • Approaching companies through exhibitions, conferences, networking events, LinkedIn, and referrals
  • Providing consultation on foreign direct investment (FDI) in Japan, research, proposals, and case management
  • Supporting business matching for companies
  • FOLLOWING UP WITH PROJECTS, MANAGING INFORMATION, AND MONITORING PERFORMANCE
  • Networking with organizations to identify target clients
  • Planning pitch events to identify target companies and match collaborative partnerships
  • Liaison and coordination with Japan HQs
  • Ad hoc duties required for the team


Required Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you will need to have:



  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Understanding of social, cultural, and business practices in the UK
  • Good Japanese speaking and reading skills
  • Industrial knowledge in sustainability, digital, or deeptech fields is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • 5 days office working
