Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Sales Development Associate to join our team at UpGuard. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and qualifying new sales opportunities for our sales team. You will generate new opportunities across EMEA using outbound tactics, identify, target, and nurture potential outbound opportunities, and understand the needs of prospects and communicate them clearly to our sales reps.

You will also be responsible for articulating UpGuard's value proposition and products to prospects and positioning them based on their particular problem or need. You will take accurate and detailed notes in our CRM system and work collaboratively with our sales, marketing, and product teams to utilize insights from prospects to make process and product improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generating new opportunities across EMEA using outbound tactics
  • Identifying, targeting, and nurturing potential outbound opportunities
  • Understanding the needs of prospects and communicating them clearly to our sales reps
  • Articulating UpGuard's value proposition and products to prospects and positioning them based on their particular problem or need
  • Taking accurate and detailed notes in our CRM system
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need 6-12 months of experience in B2B tech sales as an SDR/BDR, experience with cold calling and outbound sales, and a high level of proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken. You will also need to be able to give and receive feedback and have a high energy and willingness to learn.

A minimum of 1 year of B2B SaaS experience is also required, as well as domain experience in cybersecurity or supply chain information risk. Experience with Hubspot, Outreach.io, or other CRM software/Sales Engagement tools is a big plus.
