About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Relief House Manager to join our team at McCarthy Stone. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our retirement living developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming and Supporting Residents: Provide a warm and professional welcome to new residents, helping them to settle into their apartments and making them feel at home.
  • Front of House Service: Offer a high-quality front of house service, dealing with visitors in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Community Building: Build strong relationships with residents, facilitating social interaction and helping them to enjoy retirement living to the full.
  • Facilities Management: Manage the development's gardens and grounds, ensuring a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment for residents.
  • Problem Solving: Respond to resident issues in a sensitive and professional manner, using your problem-solving skills to find effective solutions.

Requirements

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, with a real 'can-do' attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Customer Service Experience: Have extensive experience in a professional customer service-oriented position, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality service.
  • Team Player: Be a team player, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Basic Health and Safety Awareness: Have a good understanding of basic health and safety principles and practices.
  • Computer Literacy: Possess a good level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Outlook.
