About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Relief Chef Manager to join our team at Dine Contract Catering. As a key member of our relief team, you will be responsible for managing the high level of delivery and expectations across every site you work at.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the onsite catering team at sites you are covering, ensuring a high standard of service and quality food is delivered to our clients.
  • Prepare and present delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers, using locally sourced, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness of the modern kitchen and front of house environment, adhering to Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Ensure the correct use of all kitchen machinery and equipment, and complete weekly bookwork and reports to maintain accurate records.
  • Stock take and order supplies as required, ensuring efficient inventory management.
About You
  • You will have previous chef manager experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality food and service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with a wide range of key stakeholders, including clients, customers, and colleagues.
  • Flexible in approach to working hours and environment, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Required to travel as part of the role, with a driving license and access to a vehicle essential.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a passion for quality and service delivery.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to self-manage and work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Computer literate, with experience of using kitchen management systems and other relevant software.
