About the Role

We are seeking a talented Business Development Manager to join our Finance and Insurance Sales team at Redactive Media Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing revenue streams on our prestigious insurance and risk titles.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading membership content and publishing services agency, and an employee-owned business. You will be part of a diverse sales force with over 40 staff, many of whom have been with us for over 10 years.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets on a monthly basis
  2. Build and maintain relationships with key clients, including advertising agencies and brands
  3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  4. Attend industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date with market trends
  5. Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets
Requirements
  • Proven track record of working in display and sponsorship media sales
  • Strong understanding of publishing and media sales
  • Experience in presenting to senior audiences, creating compelling sales proposals, and high-level negotiations
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Solutions-oriented mentality
  • Good time management skills with the ability to deliver projects within deadlines
  • Ability to respond to pressurized situations
  • Command of all basic IT skills and knowledge of digital stats and platforms
