Job Summary:
The Equine Department at Sparsholt is seeking an experienced educator to join our teaching team as an Equine Lecturer. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of our FE curriculum, working closely with colleagues to create engaging learning experiences for our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning materials for Equine-related courses at levels 1, 2, and 3.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of curriculum development, ensuring alignment with industry standards and Sparsholt's strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver innovative teaching methods, promoting student engagement and academic success.
- Assess and provide feedback to students on their progress, using a range of assessment methods to evaluate student learning.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Hold a degree in a relevant subject or have substantial industry experience in Equine education.
- Hold, or be willing to attain, a recognized teaching qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and students.
- An engaging personality and the ability to successfully interact with young people.
