Job Opportunity: Counter-Fraud Solicitor - Motor Insurance Claims

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Counter-Fraud Solicitor to join our team at William James Recruitment, specializing in motor insurance claims. As a Counter-Fraud Solicitor, you will be responsible for handling litigated delegated and non-delegated motor fraud files, including slam on cases, staged accidents, low speed impacts, late notification, claims layering, and exaggerated cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling a caseload of motor fraud files, including litigated delegated and non-delegated cases
  • Conducting investigations and gathering evidence to support claims
  • Representing clients in court proceedings, including trials and hearings
  • Collaborating with internal teams to develop and implement counter-fraud strategies
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in legislation and case law related to motor fraud

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience as an RTA Fraud handler
  • Sound knowledge of litigation, the CPR Rules, and Court procedures
  • Ability to work to deadlines, prioritize, and manage a varied caseload
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
