Emotional and Mental Health Support Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Mental Health Support Worker. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and gain valuable experience in a school setting.
The successful candidate will be directly involved in helping children manage and cope with their emotions and mental health. They will provide 1:1 support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and help to create a safe and engaging learning environment.
As a Mental Health Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to develop and implement strategies to support students with challenging mental health needs. You will also help to run exciting lessons and activities to ensure the classroom is a fun and engaging place.
The ideal candidate will be resilient, confident, and passionate about supporting young people with mental health needs. Experience working with vulnerable children is desirable, but not essential. We welcome applications from graduates in relevant fields and those with a background in sports, art, or drama.

- Provide 1:1 support for students with SEN
- Help to create a safe and engaging learning environment
- Work closely with the class teacher to develop and implement strategies to support students with challenging mental health needs
