About the Role:

The Academics school is seeking a Child Mental Health Support Worker to join their team. This is a dynamic and positive environment that offers a differentiated approach to education for students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in the classroom, either in small groups or one-to-one.
  • Ensure a warm and safe environment for learning to take place.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and a multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements:

  • Calm and passionate about making a difference.
  • Experience working with children.
  • Understanding of safeguarding.
  • DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
