Are you a seasoned tax professional looking for a new challenge?

We are recruiting for a Personal Tax Senior to join our team at Clark Wood, based on the outskirts of Tamworth.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our tax partner and gain valuable experience in a mixed compliance and advisory capacity.

The role is predominantly remote-based, with regular meetings at our office once a week.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing a portfolio of tax clients
  • Preparing tax returns and computations
  • Providing expert advice on personal tax matters
  • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations

You will also be responsible for liaising with clients and handling tax queries efficiently, as well as identifying tax planning opportunities.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • ATT qualification or equivalent experience within tax
  • Prior experience working in a firm of Chartered Accountants, specifically in a personal tax-focused role
  • Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
