Learning Solutions Specialist

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering learning and competency best practice across the organization, working closely with departments to identify learning needs and design effective training solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain departmental competency matrices to identify competency levels and learning gaps.
- Schedule, administer, and record group and on-the-job training.
- Identify learning needs/gaps and provide learning to address any shortcomings.
- Design, maintain, and centralize learning materials.
- Devise and deliver departmental induction/learning programs.
- Create a trainer support network across teams to aid collaboration, develop trainers' skills, and ensure consistency in approach.
- Evaluate induction and department learning to identify needs and improve approach.
Requirements:
- Excellent coaching and facilitation skills.
- Proven ability to create engaging training material using a range of blended learning methods.
- Ability to approach problems with a logical and analytical mindset, identifying root causes and proposing effective solutions.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills (ability to explain the complicated simply).
- Proven ability to collaborate with key stakeholders across different levels and teams.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to conduct training needs analysis.
- Experience of working successfully in a fast-paced, telephone customer service environment.
- Experience of working within financial services or a regulated customer service or sales environment (desirable).
