University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Clinical Orthopaedic Dietitian Specialist to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide specialist dietetic services to orthopaedic inpatients, working closely with the multidisciplinary team.

This Band 6 position involves providing evidence-based practice across the orthopaedic wards, participating in regular teaching and training, supervising dietetic assistants and students, and monitoring dietetic outcome measures. The successful candidate will also act as a reliable source of dietetic knowledge and provide expertise to patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate will have a BSc in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, HCPC Registration, and demonstrable post-graduate NHS experience in various specialties, including surgical experience. They should also possess an understanding of Orthopaedics and the role nutrition plays in the acute and recovery phase post-surgery.
