We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Specialist to join our dynamic Dermatology team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. This is a fixed-term 12-month post that will provide administrative support to the Consultant team and General Practitioner with Extended Role, including typing of clinic letters and discharge summaries, taking and transcribing minutes of meetings, arranging diaries, compiling spreadsheets, and other administrative duties as required.

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, with experience in data collection and Microsoft Excel. They will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality administrative service to the Dermatology department, supporting the team at Chapel Allerton Hospital, as well as to our GP with Extended Role who will be working across LTHT and the GP Confederation.

You will oversee the referral-to-treatment time pathway for your consultant's patients, ensuring they are managed efficiently and effectively through their agreed clinical pathways and where possible, escalating procedures are followed.
