Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Mental Health Clinician to join our Emotional Health Service (EHS) team in Richmond. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing professional consultations, assessments, individual and group therapy to children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality mental health services to children and young people, including individual and group therapy sessions.
- Provide professional consultations and assessments to identify the needs of children and young people.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals, including social workers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new services and programs to improve the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.
About You
We are looking for a qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, CBT Therapist, or Mental Health Clinician with a passion for improving the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people. You will have:
- A strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health, including the assessment and treatment of complex and vulnerable families.
- Experience working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental difficulties, such as Autism and ADHD.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn and adapt to new approaches and techniques.
