About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Mental Health Clinician to join our Emotional Health Service (EHS) team in Richmond. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing professional consultations, assessments, individual and group therapy to children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality mental health services to children and young people, including individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Provide professional consultations and assessments to identify the needs of children and young people.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, including social workers, teachers, and parents, to develop and implement effective support plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new services and initiatives to improve mental health outcomes for children and young people.

About You

We are looking for a qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, CBT Therapist, or Mental Health Clinician with a passion for improving the mental health of children and young people. You will have:

  • A strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health, including the impact of trauma and adversity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families.
  • Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team, with the ability to contribute to and receive feedback from colleagues.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development, with a desire to stay up-to-date with best practice in mental health.
