About the Role

We Are With You is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our Richmond Service team. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality recovery care to individuals struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with clients to develop and implement personalized recovery plans
  • Provide one-to-one and group support sessions to promote recovery and well-being
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and community partners
  • Conduct assessments and reviews to ensure clients receive the best possible care
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions and progress

Requirements

  • Experience working in a health, social care, or related setting
  • Knowledge and understanding of delivering evidence-based interventions
  • Experience delivering group work in outreach and community settings
  • Knowledge of health and safety, including assessing clients in high-risk situations
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Resilience under pressure and ability to prioritize work
  • Comfortable using IT and digital media
  • Flexibility with working hours and willingness to support other locations when needed
