Job Title: Operational Site HR Manager

Edwards & Pearce is seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team as an Operational Site HR Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, leading the site HR team and providing a solid, effective HR service across the site.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and support the site HR team in delivering a professional and effective HR service.
  2. Coach and develop Managers on HR Best Practice, ensuring high standards are maintained.
  3. Manage and develop employee performance, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  4. Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring appropriate skills and experience are achieved through effective resourcing and talent management.
  5. Continuously improve employee engagement, including employee wellbeing.
  6. Ensure all records are up-to-date and accurate.
  7. Implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance.
  8. Act as budget holder for Training and Development.
Requirements:
  1. CIPD level 5.
  2. At least 2 years' experience working in a leading HR position managing an HR team with site responsibility.
  3. Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  4. Strong HR leader and excellent manager of HR team members.
  5. Good business acumen and a real interest in site business and process.
  6. Ideally worked in a manufacturing environment (blue/white collar).
  7. Exposure to a wider broader HR role, getting involved in many key areas of HR.
  8. Strong communication skills at all levels and good emotional awareness.
  9. Excellent attention to detail, capable of drilling down to the details and interested in finding out the facts/details/reasoning.
  10. Good problem-solving skills, solution finder, and innovative thinker.
  11. A 'can do' attitude, ideas person, and problem solver - someone who brings energy to the team and is prepared to 'muck in'.
  12. Confident, engaging, articulate, excellent listener, and inspiring HR Manager.
