Support Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity for a mature Support Assistant to provide companionship and advocacy for a friendly gentleman in the Morecambe area. As a Support Assistant, you will be responsible for accompanying him on outings in the local community, providing emotional support, and assisting with daily tasks such as shopping, cleaning, and correspondence.
We are looking for someone with experience in care who can provide a high level of support and companionship. This is a part-time position for 6 hours per week with an estimated hourly rate of £12.60 based on industry standards in the Morecambe area. The role offers flexible working hours, mainly afternoons and weekdays, with paid annual leave and access to a workplace pension scheme.
A valid DBS check will be required for this position, which will be arranged by the employer.
Responsibilities:
- Accompanying the gentleman on outings in the local community
- Providing emotional support and companionship
- Assisting with daily tasks such as shopping, cleaning, and correspondence
