Good Inwards Inspection and Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Good Inwards Inspection and Compliance Operative. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient operation of our logistics parts supply section, with a focus on inbound inspection and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure safe behavior and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Inspect and review inbound materials, including technical documentation and critical drawing elements, to ensure compliance with quality control criteria and technical assessment/validation.
- Collaborate with the inbound team to label and store parts in the appropriate warehouse after review.
- Liaise with the Supplier Quality team, Procurement team, and Suppliers to process non-compliant product returns and communicate issues to prevent disputes.
- Support Conformity & Despatch with inspection criteria relevant to packing product ready for shipping.
- Support business stock counting/annual Stocktake in quarantine or restricted locations.
- Contribute to the performance, maintenance, and display of operational KPIs through Tier 1 meetings to improve area performance in Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
- Ensure the security and accuracy of materials and goods with inventory control.
- Support continuous improvement/lean activities in line with quality clinics or area project improvements.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain alignment with AS9100 and other compliance requirements, supporting ISO and External audits as necessary.
- Interact with internal customers and key stakeholders at all levels.
- Travel may be required to support business needs.
- Highly customer-focused with excellent technical knowledge and attention to detail.

- Ability to communicate effectively and competently.

- Experience in the Aerospace industry or similar industry.
- AS9100 rev D awareness.
- Proven track record in effective logistics parts and drawing controls.
- High focus to detail and understanding of Technical Drawings.
- Able to support lean improvements in a structured way to continually improve team performance.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Ability to identify and implement new technologies to add value to existing processes.
- Demonstratable experience in a similar role.
- Able to use digital PC-based EPR and MRP systems.
- IOSH managing safely trained.
- Forklift certification may be required to support (Certified training will be provided).
- Driving license and agreement to sign up to TT Electronics driver controls (Online System).
- Previous experience in lean principles.
- Knowledge of our customers and their industry, Aerospace, Marine, Defence.
- Experience of dealing with suppliers & government agencies both internal/external.
- Engineering Qualification or equivalent.
- Able to understand and use courier booking systems.
