Inward Quality Assurance and Compliance Specialist

Overview
Introduction
Facilitate the secure, efficient, and effective management of the logistics parts supply division to meet customer delivery expectations and operational performance indicators.
Concentrate on the inbound evaluation to fulfill all contractual obligations, including Quality Assurance standards and technical validation of all incoming materials.
Collaborate closely with the Inward Quality Operative(s) to guarantee that only compliant materials are permitted into the operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Consistently exhibit safe practices and ensure that both you and your colleagues are safeguarded from significant hazards.
- Assess and scrutinize incoming materials from the supply chain, including all technical documentation, critical design elements, and measurements, while coordinating with Quality Engineers for First Article Inspection Criteria when necessary.
- Work alongside the inbound team to label and store components in the designated warehouse following the completion of the review.
- Coordinate with the Supplier Quality team, Procurement team, and Suppliers to manage non-compliant product returns and clearly communicate issues to prevent disputes.
- Assist Conformity & Dispatch with inspection criteria relevant to packaging products ready for shipment.
- Participate in cycle counting and annual stocktaking as required (for quarantine or restricted areas).
- Contribute to the performance, maintenance, and display of operational KPIs by collaborating with the team in Tier 1 meetings to enhance area performance concerning Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
- Ensure the security and accuracy of materials and goods through inventory management.
- Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives in alignment with quality improvement projects.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain strong compliance with AS9100 and other regulatory requirements, assisting with ISO and external audits as necessary to ensure adherence to policies and expectations.
- Engage with internal customers and key stakeholders at all levels as required.
- Travel may be necessary to support business needs.
- You may occasionally be required to perform additional duties as reasonably requested by the company.

Skills and Experience
Essential
- Experience in the Aerospace sector or a related industry.
- Awareness of AS9100 rev D.
- Proven history of effective logistics parts and drawing management.
- High attention to detail and comprehension of Technical Drawings.
- Ability to support lean improvements in a structured manner to continuously enhance team performance.
- Capacity to operate effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Ability to identify and implement new technologies that add value to existing processes.
- Demonstrable experience in a similar capacity.
- Proficient in using digital PC-based ERP and MRP systems.
Desirable
- IOSH Managing Safely trained.
- Forklift certification may be necessary to assist (certified training will be provided).
- Possession of a driving license and agreement to comply with TT Electronics driver controls (online system).
- Previous experience with lean principles.
- Knowledge of our customers and their industries, including Aerospace, Marine, and Defence.
- Experience interacting with suppliers and government agencies, both internal and external.
- Engineering qualification or equivalent.
- Ability to understand and utilize courier booking systems.
