The Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Trainee to join our team in Buckinghamshire. As a key member of the Actuarial team, you will be responsible for contributing to the success of our business.

  • Main Tasks:
  • Support the development and implementation of Solvency II valuation processes.
  • Work closely with the Actuarial team to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Manage with-profits business, making informed decisions on investment strategy and bonus rates.
  • Pricing of annuity business and policy alteration terms.
  • Analyze experience data, recommending valuation assumptions.
  • Nearly qualified actuary with a strong background in actuarial science.
  • Desirable: Experience working within the Actuarial Function of a UK Life assurer.
  • Solvency II knowledge, specifically Pillars I, II and III.
  • Understanding of actuarial modelling systems and financial projections.
  • Excellent report writing skills, able to communicate complex ideas to senior stakeholders.

$110,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
