Job Description

We are seeking a Regulatory Reporting Specialist to join our team at SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA. This role is responsible for the production, review, analysis, and certification of all prudential metrics allocated under UK CRR, covering Liquidity, Capital, Large Exposures, Leverage, and FINREP reporting.

The successful candidate will oversee production tasks in Bucharest, ensuring all processes have been correctly carried out and data quality checks performed. They will also investigate any issues identified, obtain business validation, and ensure reconciliations and control frameworks are in place and completed ahead of submission.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing cross-cover on the production of metrics with other team members, exposing you to different regulatory metrics. You will work closely with the Asset and Liability and Treasury team in the active management of SGIL solvency and liquidity positions.

The ideal candidate will have a detailed knowledge of UK CRR – Liquidity, Solvency, and FINREP. Strong accounting knowledge and good communication skills are required, as well as a relationship facility in team works.

This position implies many contacts in an international environment on technical topics, which require excellent verbal and written level in English. A high level of autonomy is expected after a standard period of learning.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Production, review, analysis, and certification of all prudential metrics allocated under UK CRR.
  2. Oversight and review of reports produced by the Bucharest production team.
  3. Ensure process and methodological documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
  4. Follow-up of data quality issues through formal governance.
  5. Production and monitoring of metrics against Early Warning Indicators and reporting of metrics as part of monitoring against the Firm's Risk Appetite Statement to monthly governance forums.
  6. As required, production of reporting to SG Group to provide SGIL contribution to the Group Solvency and Liquidity metrics and ensuring validation and certification packs are prepared and reviewed.
  7. Contribution to ad-hoc requests from business lines.
  8. Continuous improvement of processes within the team, leveraging automation wherever possible.
