Job Title: Construction Compliance Specialist

About The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Compliance Specialist to join our team at The Health and Safety Partnership Limited. As a Building Control Surveyor, you will work closely with clients and design teams to ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act and current Building Regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Providing guidance on the Building Safety Act and Building Regulations
  • Conducting plan reviews and design assessments for Building Regulation submissions
  • Attending client and design team meetings
  • Delivering technical advice to clients, contractors, colleagues, developers, and stakeholders
  • Maintaining high-quality project outputs and deliverables
  • Writing reports, including End of Design Stage Reports and Building Regulations Trackers
  • Inspecting properties and buildings at key stages of the design process

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in a construction-related field, preferably with a focus on design (e.g., architecture, construction design, or related subject)
  • Membership to RICS, CABE, or CIOB
  • Excellent knowledge of the Building Regulations, codes, and associated legislation
  • Understanding and experience of the design and construction process, including inspecting buildings and properties
  • Experience working on multiple projects
