**Job Description:** Rail Infrastructure Compliance Specialist

Company Overview

Randstad Construction and Property requires a skilled Freelance Health and Safety Advisor to join their team on a prestigious Rail framework in the North West. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, drive improvements in rail accessibility and safety, and enjoy competitive day rates and flexible working arrangements.

Estimated Salary: £45-£65 per hour

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in health and safety roles within the rail sector, coupled with comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation. They will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting site inspections and risk assessments, and developing safety briefings and training sessions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise project teams on best practices for health and safety management.
  • Implement and maintain effective health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to enhance health and safety knowledge.
Desirable Skills
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
