About the Role:

The School Renovation Company is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating engaging, educational, and exceptional spaces and inclusive environments for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend site meetings with new clients and manage the initial brief through to conception.
  • Manage the sales cycle and CRM.
  • Produce itemized quotations and estimates.
  • Review tenders and assist in preparing bid documentation.
  • Liaise with external suppliers.
  • Initiate cost reductions without compromising design quality or the client's experience.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong knowledge and experience of creating site surveys.
  • Knowledge of generating quotations/bill of materials.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Space awareness and the ability to visualize issues and solutions.
  • Ability to think on the spot and solve our customers' problems.
  • Educated to degree level or have relevant work experience (preferably from the construction industry).

What We Need from You:

  • At least 2 years of experience in construction or commercial fit-out.
  • A full UK driver's license.
  • Be willing to travel occasionally from the office for client visits and meetings.
