We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist/Health Psychologist/Psychotherapist to join our team at Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative service that provides specialist psychological support to individuals with diabetes and other long-term conditions. As a Clinical Psychologist/Health Psychologist/Psychotherapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessments, interventions, and consultations to clients, as well as contributing to the development of the service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist psychological support to clients with diabetes and other long-term conditions, including assessment, formulation, and intervention.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Contribute to the development of the service, including the design and delivery of training programs and the development of policies and procedures.
- Provide consultation and guidance to other healthcare professionals on psychological matters.
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance the service and improve patient outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A doctoral-level qualification in Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology, or a related field.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Registered Health Psychologist.
- Experience of working with clients with diabetes and other long-term conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
