Job Description

As a Technical Account Manager (EMEA), you will play a critical role in helping our customers achieve their goals by leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS). This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK and work with some of the most iconic businesses in the country.

You will be responsible for providing advice on architecture, support strategy, project, and launch planning as well as ongoing operational issues. You will also ensure that AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Technical Account Manager (EMEA) to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with customers to understand their business needs and provide guidance on how to leverage Amazon Web Services (AWS) to drive growth and innovation.

You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive customer adoption and usage of AWS services, including EC2, S3, DynamoDB & RDS databases, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, IoT, and many more. You will also collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity
* Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer solutions
* Proactively identify opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS

Requirements

* Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three (3) of the following: compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment
* Strong understanding of cloud computing and architecture
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
