**Job Title:** Financial Administrator

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Administrator to join our team at Page Personnel Sales. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Monitor and manage customer monies, advising the management team and relevant sales personnel to process orders and post receipts on Sage 50.
  • Track and update USD and EUR exchange rates, adding them to our morning email.
  • Enter proforma payments on our banking system and deal with all accounts-related queries.

**Weekly Tasks:**

  • Perform weekly bank reconciliations of bank accounts and post any Direct Debits.
  • Run BACS payments, ensuring suppliers with settlement discounts are deducted and sending remittances.
  • Monitor debtors owing and reconcile stock.
  • Post petty cash reconciliations and check sales invoices received from the Shipping Department.
  • Update sales commissions spreadsheets and check which have been paid, adding to payroll.
  • Ensure Quarterly Supplier Commission Credit Notes have been received.

**Yearly Responsibilities:**

  • Year End Reporting - reconcile physical stock with accounts stock, revalue currency accounts, and perform bad debt provisions.
  • Archive previous year accounts for storage.
  • Submit year end accounts to Accountants for audit and journal Corporation Tax figure once calculated.

**Requirements:**

  • Good Excel and systems skills.
  • Accountancy qualifications.
