Business Development Executive

Black Horse Beamish, a renowned 37-acre estate in the conservation valley, seeks an experienced Business Development Executive to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the wedding and events market.
As a key member of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in seeking out new business opportunities and building strong relationships with potential clients. Your primary responsibility will be to meet prospective clients for show-arounds, ensuring a prompt and professional response or follow-up to sales enquiries, wedding show-arounds, and FAM trips.
We offer a competitive salary range of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. If you are a motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for the events industry, we encourage you to apply.
In addition to your basic salary, you will receive a generous commission structure, based on event bookings and revenue generated. You will also have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, to ensure you remain up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
- You will work closely with our events team to ensure seamless execution of events, from initial planning stages to post-event evaluation.
- Your responsibilities will include researching competitors on wedding trends, offerings, and pricing, to ensure Black Horse Beamish remains competitive and relevant in the marketplace.
- You will be responsible for managing customer feedback, responding to guest problems and complaints, and scheduling and attending weekly function and sales meetings.
