Job Title: Ecommerce Assistant Merchandiser

JD Group is seeking an experienced Ecommerce Assistant Merchandiser to join our Outdoors Multichannel Merchandising Team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure new products are online in a timely and accurate manner, maintaining the look and feel of our websites to maximize conversion and drive sales.
  • Work closely with the Buying & Merchandising teams to prioritize products and ensure the most relevant and revenue-driving items are showcased.
  • Collaborate with the Photo Studio to create assets ahead of stock arrival, reducing time to site.
  • Merchandise our websites using Aurora Commerce ranking blends and manual modifications to ensure the most relevant seasonal products are showcased.
  • Conduct regular site walks to identify and resolve potential issues, including broken links, incorrect product descriptions, and product placement.
  • Assist Junior Merchandisers with day-to-day tasks as required.
  • Set up current on-site promotions in the Aurora platform and apply relevant overlays/badging using Monetate software.
  • Review and maintain product attribution, including multi-buys, colors, new season, and out-of-stock rules.
  • Ensure product reviews are regularly checked and set live to sites.
  • Deal with daily product queries from the customer experience team, escalating and managing any issues that cannot be resolved.
  • Support line managers with basic system/task training for new Assistant Merchandisers.
  • Review top on-site searches and action merchandising rules to improve results and conversion.
Requirements:
  • Ecommerce, merchandising, and Excel experience.
  • Good analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
