About the Role:
A Junior Mechanical Contracts Manager is required to join a well-established M&E Contractor in Greater Belfast. This company has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects throughout NI and UK wide.

The successful candidate will have 1+ years of experience in a Mechanical Supervisor/Management role or be a qualified Plumbing/Heating Engineer with experience working on major projects. They will have excellent time management skills, able to work under pressure, and be commercially aware of costs and trends in the marketplace.

The role offers a competitive salary, ongoing training and development opportunities, and exposure to working on multi-million-pound projects. The company also provides a working away allowance, all flights & accommodation are covered by the company, health cash plan, team building activities, monthly employee recognition award, and enhanced maternity and paternity leave.

About You:
You should have good interpersonal skills to create meaningful relationships with colleagues and clients. You will be expected to promote best practice, manage, monitor and successfully deliver Mechanical Contracts for clients within various sectors. You will also assist with the procurement and ordering of key materials, appointments of subcontract supply chain, and ensure specifications and drawing requirements are being complied with.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of safety, health, environment, and quality systems. They will be able to accurately monitor and costing contract change instructions/variations and issue interim valuation claims accurately in line with works completed on site. They should also be able to cope with unforeseen M&E technical problems with confidence and ease.
