Mechanical Technologist

About the Job:
Reactive Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Technologist to join our team. As a Mechanical Technologist, you will work on shift with a small team of production operators and the shift supervisor, offering technical support to ensure production goals are met and quality standards are upheld.

This role requires a recognized 3rd level qualification in an engineering discipline and relevant experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role. You should also possess expertise in fault diagnosis and repair of mechanical/pneumatic systems, as well as the ability to learn and adapt swiftly in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work on shift with a small team of production operators and the shift supervisor
• Offer technical support to ensure production goals are met and quality standards are upheld
• Communicate effectively with other departments regarding current or potential issues that could affect equipment uptime or quality

Requirements:
• A recognized 3rd level qualification in an engineering discipline
• Relevant experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role
• Expertise in fault diagnosis and repair of mechanical/pneumatic systems
• Ability to learn and adapt swiftly in a fast-moving environment
