About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Branch Assistant to join our team at Saltire - SBD. As a key member of our trade counter team, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and supporting the smooth operation of our branches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards within the trade counter area and warehouse.
  • Assist with health and safety compliance and ensure a safe working environment for all employees and customers.
  • Support the Branch Manager and team in achieving branch performance targets and contribute to the overall success of the business.
  • Provide cover in the branch when required and be flexible in your approach to work.
  • Assist with multi-drop deliveries and have a valid full driving license.

Requirements:

  • A friendly, welcoming attitude and energy to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Good organisational skills and be IT literate.
  • Previous experience in a driving role would be advantageous, but full training will be provided.
  • Experience in a trade counter environment would be preferred, but not essential.
  • Ability to work within a small team and be a team player.
