Behaviour Support Assistant Role
Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with their academic objectives and promoting positive behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside classroom staff to support students with their academic objectives
- Support and reinforce positive behaviour, encouraging students to make good choices throughout the school day
- Help students process their emotions in a healthy way, reducing challenging behaviour
- Facilitate a safe and engaging learning environment for students to learn effectively
Requirements:
- Experience working with vulnerable children
- Ability to support students with trauma and associated learning difficulties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
