Job Title: Business Development Manager - Pallet Network Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Macgregor Cavendish (UK) Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving profitable revenue growth in line with the company's commercial policy, while also developing and maintaining existing accounts and revenue streams.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure proactive management of the sales process to win new business in line with budget expectations.
- Liaise daily with operations, customer services, administration, and finance to ensure that the requirements of new and existing accounts are known and understood.
- Implement new business working closely with the Implementation / W/H Ops Manager.
Requirements:
- Accurate and thorough with a good eye for detail.
- Able to analyse data, spot trends, draw conclusions, and make recommendations to customers.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly both written and verbal.
- High-level presentation skills.
- Able to tailor the communication style and format to the customer.
- Proven track record of new business development within fast-moving distribution.
- Experience selling within pallet networks (desirable, but would consider experience in parcels sales).
- Knowledge of 3PL services including fulfilment.
